ABOUT NORMIE
Neighbors Organized for Rights, Morality, Integrity & Equality
What NORMIE Stands For
Rights
Protecting fundamental liberties and constitutional freedoms from government overreach and abuse of power.
Morality
Doing what's right for our families, communities, and future generations. Basic human decency in action.
Integrity
Demanding clean government, transparent institutions, and accountability from those in power.
Equality
Fair treatment and equal opportunities for all people, regardless of background or circumstance.
Our Approach
Accessible Language
We avoid political jargon and culture-war terminology. Instead, we use civic language that speaks to shared values: protecting families, supporting communities, and ensuring fair treatment for everyone.
Lower the Bar
You don't need to be an experienced activist or political expert. You don't need to give speeches or organize events. You just need to show up when it matters.
Normalize Participation
Civic participation should be as normal as voting or volunteering at your kid's school. We're here to make peaceful protest feel approachable for ordinary people.
Support Activists
Frontline activists do the hard work of organizing and speaking out. When ordinary people join them, it provides safety in numbers and makes movements impossible to ignore.
Universal Values
NORMIE focsues on the basic values that most people share, regardless of political identity:
- •Government should serve the people, not special interests
- •Everyone deserves basic dignity and respect
- •Families should be safe and supported
- •Communities should thrive together
- •Hard work should be rewarded fairly
- •The powerful should be held accountable
- •The next generation should inherit something better
- •Democracy requires participation
